How to manage a remote unit in DAS systems

The distributed antenna system (DAS) is a communication solutions which is used to distribute the cellular signal of operators within a building with cellular RF over fiber (RFoF) for the indoor environments.

The RFoF transceivers can convert analog RF signals to fiber optic signals on both master and slave units, support for controls 8 remote units via a RFoF (TPRF-2F628-M8).

Generally, the BDA management systems can be through the optical fiber(SMF) from master unit to remote unit, that can monitor the RFoF (TPRF-2F628-S1), Amplifier and the BDA in the IBS/DAS systems, uses RS232/485 to connect PCBA to BDA. It's enable a RS232/485 module to uses the analogue 433/866MHz RF signals input laser to manage all of remote devices.

Optical BDA management functions:

. Power alarm

. Temp alarm

. Laser alarm

. PD alarm

. RF on/off

. Gain adjust
