In-building solutions (IBS) is a communication solutions which is used to distribute the cellular signal of operators within a building with cellular communication for the indoor environments such as offices, malls, hospitals, airports, hotels.
IBS are comprising of a distributed antenna system (DAS) enhancing coverage and capacity inside the buildings with weak or no telecom signal. Now a novel model is proposed for IBS using fractal array technique in DAS, the performance of the proposal technique outperforms the tradition beamforming techniques. IBS also increases telecom operator’s revenue and customer retention.
